I'm Rebecca, a 23 year-old writer, college dropout, and a very pessimistic feminist. I like flavoured coffee, indie music, and a darkly comic novel for any time of the day. This website is the home of my blog and my shared works of creative fiction. A more verbose summary of me is located here.
My current novel endeavor, full of angst, drinking, and religious questioning. Also: lies, ketamine, and shopping carts. Learn just a fraction more here.

    Ensemble: Victorian Eighties

I’ve recently purchased myself a rainbow’s worth of coloured tights. Still can’t find any mustard yellow for the life of me, but nevertheless, I’ve been trying to put together outfits with tights that compliment them. Today I also got my shipment of new cardigans from Ruche. The one that I used with this outfit didn’t exactly fit the way that I wanted it to, which was unbuttoned and loose. It was really loose, so I had to button it up and cinch it with a belt. A new look, which I think is alright.

Also, I went to using smaller pictures, because the ones from the previous post just seemed a bit overbearing. You can click on each photo to view it larger in Flickr.

I also badly need to pluck my eyebrows, but I never have that kind of time. Also, I remember once that Ryan told me that he liked the natural look my eyebrows, so for some reason I just never felt the need to bother with them. Eh.

    1. I heart the blue tights! And your headband is so cute; it reminds me a little bit of the headpiece that goes with my birdcage veil.
PS – I suggest getting your eyebrows professionally waxed and then it’s really easy to follow their shape after that. Of course I can’t speak to the upkeep of dark eyebrows, as the few that I have are white blonde, har har.

    3. I used to get them threaded in this backwoods “salon” in some basement of a house on the North Shore when I still lived there. It was the best thing ever. And it only cost me five bucks each time. I need to find a new place around here…
