I'm Rebecca, a 23 year-old writer, college dropout, and a very pessimistic feminist. I like flavoured coffee, indie music, and a darkly comic novel for any time of the day. This website is the home of my blog and my shared works of creative fiction. A more verbose summary of me is located here.
My current novel endeavor, full of angst, drinking, and religious questioning. Also: lies, ketamine, and shopping carts. Learn just a fraction more here.

    Inventory: Sunday Morning

Woke up an hour early than expected. 2:30 AM. Lay there for fifteen, then got up, made an omelet breakfast. Watched an episode of The Office, the one where they have the inventory luau. Enjoyed two cups of coffee. Today’s flavour: Gooey Caramel Fudge Brownie. Straightened hair. Did makeup, sans blush and mascara. Put simple outfit together. Set out two cans of sugar-free Red Bull aside in an old plastic bag from the Sahali Liquor Store with a receipt still inside from the purchase of a 1.75 litre bottle of Tanqueray gin. $55.95 with a twenty cent deposit. The cashier of the transaction was Melissa.

I’ve got ten minutes to spare.
