Ensemble: Covered Wagon to the Candy House

Since spring has officially sort of arrived, I’ve been way into cute prairie-style outfits. Typically I do a shirt/skirt mixed with a belt to look like a dress, but since I got this Covered Wagon dress from ModCloth, I’ve been loving the hell out of the simple style and basic colours, as it allows me to add the that pop of colour that this dress needs with tights and a cardigan. The tights I bought a while ago, but this whole time I’ve been a bit apprehensive about actually wearing them, as I usually try to distance myself from that baby pink-loving girl stereotype.

I don’t think they do a lot of harm here, though. They make me think of cotton candy, and I’m sure I can make some decent summer outfits with this colour.
